- I am a firm believer in Robert McKee's advice for establishing a scene. Throw the audience into the middle of it, and make them figure out what's happening.

I love learning new languages, don't you?

- Looks like somebody has found herself a kill room of her own. As for McKee's advice, I'm also a big fan of en medias res openings.

- Panel 5-looks like someone else has seen "Leon: The Professional."
Good on you, Baltimore. I know a smattering of French, and the gentleman is saying: "She will protect us" in panel 2.
Don't know who she's going up against, but I'm pretty sure they'll be either dead or wishing they were in the next few pages.
Great views, and awesome pacing in this one, Hjels.

- Well darn. I don't speak French and I like the mystery of this page too much to let Google translate butcher it. I think this is one of those pages I'm gonna just let happen. It's an experience, man.

- @Jessie : Violence is about to ensue. How she got herself into this situation and who all these people are, I'm sure will be revealed.

- @GroovyKinda: The gentleman has alot of faith in her abilities to keep them safe. The lady, a little less. I wanted to keep the pace a little slow before, well, things kick off.

And yes, there is a hint of Leon, in there. :)

- @melaredblu: Whenever I use a foreign language in the comic, I make sure that the dialogue isn't actually essential to getting what's happening. I see it as a bonus to whomever knows the language. You don't lose much from not actually knowing it, though.

- I know a little of French so the half dialog adds to the mood
