- You know what you need? Another three comics that I enjoy, for no apparent reason.

Groovy Kinda
Sweet Dreams are Made of Worms
Princess Chroma

- I get to be a pilot? Fricken' sweet!
Is Cat conscious for this at all? I wonder if she's aware enough to take some comfort in the fact that they're hustling to save her. I'm really, really hoping she'll survive this, but given your propensity for tearjerkers, I'm...deeply concerned.

- In Cat's favor, Richter has an incredibly competent team, with a flight crew familiar with flying at high speed.

It's the best combination she or anyone else could hope for. ^^

- You forgot to add "handsome" to "incredibly competent."
Thanks for the cameo, chief! And I get to drive, too? Ha-ha, "Craig!" Don't sulk and keep your hands off the radio dial.
This is such a great page, Hjels. You either really know your stuff, or you've done your homework.
And you're really stretching out in your art, my friend. I love the views, and the body language. There's so much movement and forward momentum in the panels.

- @GroovyKinda: Gimme a break, man, you guys are wearing Balaclavas--and you, specifically are wearing a billed cap! Outsiders reading this would think I had a ski mask fetish if I mentioned how fine you are. O.o

- I just noticed that Shields has an accent now. I kinda overlooked it on the previous page.

Is that supposed to be a specific Southern US accent or just generic? :P

- Holy hell! I get to drive!... Note to self: Right side of the road, right side of the road." Thanks for the honor and shout out.

- @GroovyKinda: Oh no. See that symbol on the hat? That's me Groovy. Those keys are headed for yours truly. Buckle up, Chuck! Man. If we die I hope it's a good death with guns blazing and explosions.

- @melaredblu: Smartass chopper jockeys. Always ready with a witty reply.

Cat, I imagine is in no shape to appreciate the effort being enacted on her behalf. Her survival is out of her hands. Which a little while ago would be the worst nightmare of a control freak like her. But, you know, getting shot by the man she loved probably would rate higher.

- @Delta-v: She's in the hands of an experienced medevac team, prepping to take her straight to some of the top combat surgeons on the world. Shields has given her a chance. All that remains to be seen is if it's all too late.

- @GroovyKinda: I really wanted every panel to really jump to the next, to give a feeling of the urgency and the speed with which this sequence of events happens.

The radio protocol is close to the norwegian standard, though I take some liberties with it, for the sake of the flow of dialogue. I wanted to research how American radio prtotocol differs, but I'd probably wind up on a couple of lists I'd rather avoid if I dug too deep. :)

- @Eddie: His accent is kind of just a tool to suggest that he's not himself with these people, if you know what I mean. He takes on a different persona to navigate the world at large, because he know he's a danger to others.

It wasn't really important what accent it was. Southern is just simpler to suggest through text. :)

- @Jessie : No fair! I called it first!
And that's my cap! Remember, you gave it to me. Back, um, before that thing happened.
Fine. Whatever. I get shotgun.
Are we there yet?

- @GroovyKinda: Ok. You can drive. But if the vehicle has any mounted weaponry, I get to shoot the guns.

- @Jessie : If you two kids can't play nice, I swear I will turn this comic around so fast... :) But yes, the suggestion was that the one with the cap was our man Craig. I should probably have switched position on them to make that clear.

The way radio chatter is handled in most popular fiction is a pet peeve of mine. So I wanted this to be close to authentic at least.
